Sup, hoomans! Welcome back to another train adventure with Train Around!
This week, Train Around is heading to one of the well-known places to visit around the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Street!

This week, Train Around is taking the MRT route to Merdeka station which is the nearest station to Petaling Street. As Petaling Street is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, it is also reachable by LRT Sentul Timur line and stop by the station, Plaza Rakyat station! Petaling Street is just a short walking distance from these two stations which is actually more ideal to walk around to have a better view of this historical and cultured tourist spot!

Petaling Street is Kuala Lumpur's original Chinatown which located in Jalan Petaling, City Centre where you can find great local Chinese food, street food, souvenirs, clothing and many more items that you can never end your shopping with. It is also filled with various cafes, restaurants, hidden antique shops, mural wall paintings, temples and many more places to spend a meaningful day with!

#1 - Kwai Chai Hong

Kwai Chai Hong is one of the most Insta-worthy tourist hotspot as it is restored from a pre-war buildings in a history-rich alley into a beautiful hidden photo shooting spot. Kwai Chai Hong is originally known as Lorong Panggung and it is used to be a hideout of the gang "Dragon Tiger Clan" which the members are called "Little Ghost" which directly translated to Kwai Chai in Cantonese dialect! After restoration, it is decorated with Chinese-styled decorations and mural paintings that reflects the daily activities of early Chinese settlers in the area during the 1960s.

#2 - China Town Seng Kee Restaurant

China Town Seng Kee Restaurant is one of the famous restaurant in Petaling Street for the best local Chinese food! As you are in "Chinatown", you got to have some Chinese food am I right? This restaurant is mostly the best supper place for all the night life hoomans as Petaling Street is also the busiest at that time!

China Town Seng Kee is really famous for its signature dishes such as Claypot Pearl Noodles (Loh Shu Fun), Roasted Pork Noodles, Pigs Intestines and Dumplings. Today, I am trying out their Roasted Pork Noodles (my ultimate favourite because the fried pork is AWESOME!) and Cantonese Style Noodles!
